Gianna - ADOPTION IN PROGRESS's story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions.
Meet Gianna! The first thing you will notice about her is her big, goofy smile - this girl loves to give kisses and grin up at you in happiness! Her favorite thing is to carry around a toy in her mouth, and squeaky ones are her preference. Gianna is great with other dogs and enjoys having a canine companion to wrestle with. Her hidden talent is balancing on the arm of the couch like a cat. At 2 years old and about 80lbs, we think she might be a Great Dane and Catahoula mix. Gianna believes she's a lapdog, and is happy to hop up next to you on the sofa for cuddles and slobbery kisses. Curious about cats, but non-aggressive, Gianna finds them interesting, so dog-savvy cats would be fine in her home. Gianna is crate trained, house trained and while she is strong on leash she is very eager to please her people. She's a great dog with a fun personality! Gianna is currently being treated for heartworms and is expected to make a full recovery. If you are looking for a happy-go-lucky dog to join you on lots of adventures, Gianna is your girl!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
