Chocolate came to the shelter at the beginning of January as part of a hoarding case. She is now healthy and well fed (and happy to have a soft spot to nap!). She is one of the most socialized of the group, and enjoys being petted, brushed, and handled. If you have a soft spot for a senior girl who asks for nothing more than a clean, safe place to live out the rest of her days, please consider giving Chocolate a home.

Chocolate's eyes are most likely due to a genetic birth defect. She has had one removed and can see out the other. Chocolate is FIV positive, so she will need to go to a home without other cats or a home with other FIV positive cats. She previously lived with an older dog.
